WHAT is Flight Dispatch?

Flight dispatch involves planning, monitoring, and overseeing all aspects of a flight before and during its operation. It includes tasks such as creating flight plans, determining fuel requirements, considering weather conditions, and coordinating with pilots and ground staff to ensure safe and efficient flights.

HOW to become a Flight Dispatcher this year 2024?

The Age limit to becoming a Licensed Flight dispatcher start from 21years old and above. The least qualification you need is your secondary school certificate. If you passed WAEC then you can still study to become a flight dispatcher. But if you have a degree or diploma then it is a good plus for you. However, you don’t need a Degree to be one.

Job and Salary Benefits

Once you get into an airline, your entry level salary is plus or minus N350,000 monthly. As you advance your salary also increases. Senior Flight Dispatchers earn plus or minus N1,000,000 monthly.

REGULAR FLIGHT DISPATCH PROGRAM

  • This Flight Dispatch program typically only takes 3 months to complete. It is split into Basic and Advanced Flight Dispatch, Basic Flight dispatch takes 6weeks and Advanced Flight Dispatch also takes 6weeks, the classes hold from 9am – 4pm Monday to Friday. This is best for people who are not currently working.

Cost of Regular Flight Dispatch Program

  • Form/Online Entry Exam- N20,000
  • Basic Flight Dispatch- N350,000
  • Advanced Flight Dispatch- N450,000
  • Total- N820,000

SPECIAL FLIGHT DISPATCH PROGRAM (Evening and Weekend Classes)

  • This Flight Dispatch program is mainly for people who are already workers and are looking to switch to Flight Dispatch, this program takes 4 months to complete. It is also split into Basic and Advanced Flight Dispatch, whereby Basic Flight dispatch takes 8weeks and Advanced Flight Dispatch also takes 8weeks, the classes hold from 4pm – 8pm Monday to Friday and 10am- 3pm on Saturdays.

Cost of Special Flight Dispatch Program (Evening and Weekend Classes)

  •  Form/Online Entry Exam- N20,000
  • Basic Flight Dispatch- N450,000
  • Advanced Flight Dispatch- N550,000
  •  Total- N1,020,000

Once you are done with your program, you would be given access to write 2 major papers, these papers are NCAA paper 1 and 2. The NCAA (Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority) is the regulatory body that issues licenses to Flight Dispatchers. Once you pass those 2 papers an official license will be issued to you. With this license you would be able to Dispatch any Aircraft in Nigeria.

Once you have gotten your license, you would be given access to one of our secured 20 Flight Dispatch Slots in the airlines.

NOTE: please note that these slots are only available within January to May 2024. If you complete your training with us and are not able to pass your NCAA Exams within this time period. We would be Exonerated from getting you the Job. 

Our classes for Flight dispatch starts on the 15th of January 2024, to maximize this employment opportunity it is advisable you join the January batch.
