What is BATCO?

BATCO is a non-licensed, foundational aircraft-maintenance training course designed for people who want to build technical competence and get practical exposure — ideal for entry-level technicians, maintenance assistants, or those exploring aviation maintenance as a career path.

Who Should Attend

  • Anyone interested in starting a career in aircraft maintenance, but not ready for a full licensed-AMT program.

  • Those seeking practical, hands-on exposure through a combination of classroom theory and field experience.

  • People with basic education who are ready to commit to a short intensive training.

What You’ll Learn — Sample Curriculum / Course Outline

Because BATCO is foundational and condensed, the curriculum focuses on the essentials of aircraft maintenance theory and systems. Possible modules include (but are not limited to):

  1. Basic mathematics & physics — grounding in essential calculations and principles

  2. Theory of flight / Aerodynamics fundamentals

  3. Basic electricity / electrical fundamentals (DC/AC basics, wiring, distribution)

  4. Airframe construction & aircraft structure overview

  5. Engine systems fundamentals (piston and/or turbine, depending on focus)

  6. Airframe systems (landing gear, hydraulic/pneumatic, fuel, environmental)

  7. Electrical & avionics systems overview

  8. Maintenance practices — routine maintenance procedures, inspections, checks

  9. Safety practices & human factors in maintenance

  10. Aircraft documentation & technical records basics

  11. Introduction to aviation regulations, quality control, and maintenance standards

  12. Pre- and post-maintenance inspections, basic troubleshooting, defect reporting & log-keeping

✅ Training Flexibility – We offer 2 training modes. We have the BATCO Regular Program this takes 4 weeks, and the BATCO Weekend Program this takes 12weeks(12 Saturdays) Only.

Fees and Registration Process,

To enroll in the BATCO program at Aviatrix Hub, applicants must meet the following minimum criteria:

  1. Age: 18 years and above

  2. Medical Fitness: Must be medically fit

  3. Education: Minimum of O-level WAEC grade with credit in Maths,English and Physics

BATCO Regular

    • Tuition Fee: ₦350,000

    • Registration Fee: ₦10,000

    • Duration: 4 Weeks (Monday – Friday, 9 am – 4 pm)

    • Location: Aviatrix Hub, Concord Bus Stop, Murtala Mohammed International Airport Link Road, Ikeja, Lagos

    • Next Class Date: 12th January 2026

  • BATCO Weekend

      • Tuition Fee: ₦400,000

      • Registration Fee: ₦10,000

      • Duration: 12 Weeks (Saturdays Only 10 am – 3 pm)

      • Location: Aviatrix Hub, Concord Bus Stop, Murtala Mohammed International Airport Link Road, Ikeja, Lagos.

      • Next Class Date: 7th February 2026
