What is A.Y.E.P?

The Aviatrix Youth Empowerment Program (A.Y.E.P) is a transformative initiative launched to empower aspiring aviation professionals. Officially unveiled on November 21, 2024, at the Murtala Mohammed International Airport, Ikeja, Lagos, the launch event was graced by prominent leaders in the aviation industry.

A.Y.E.P is spearheaded by Aviatrix Hub (an aviation Training institute), in collaboration with industry partners, driven by a singular mission: “To sponsor passionate individuals through aviation training and integrate them into the industry.”

A.Y.E.P Scholarship Courses

Through the support of our partners and sponsors, A.Y.E.P offers Full and Partial Scholarships for the following in-demand aviation courses:

1. Flight Dispatch

Flight Dispatchers are the unsung heroes of aviation, ensuring flights operate safely and efficiently. Their responsibilities include:

• Creating flight plans

• Determining fuel requirements

• Monitoring weather conditions

• Coordinating with pilots and ground staff

Often referred to as “Ground Pilots,” Flight Dispatchers are indispensable for airline safety.

2. Cabin Crew

Cabin Crew members, also known as flight attendants, are vital to passenger safety, comfort, and service. Their responsibilities include:

• Managing emergencies

• Delivering excellent customer service

• Adhering to safety protocols

Cabin Crew professionals ensure a seamless flying experience for passengers while maintaining the highest safety standards.

3. Basic Aircraft Technician Course (BATCO)

This hands-on course equips students with practical expertise in:

• Aircraft maintenance and inspection

• Troubleshooting airframes and power plants

• Repairing, servicing, and overhauling aircraft components

Graduates of this program become competent aircraft technicians ready to excel in the aviation industry.

A.Y.E.P Exam Details

The A.Y.E.P Exam evaluates basic secondary school-level knowledge. Questions will cover the following subjects:

• General Mathematics

• Basic English

• Simple Geography

• Basic Science

• Current Affairs (related to aviation)

• I.Q and Logical Reasoning

How to Register for the A.Y.E.P Scholarship

To qualify for the Aviatrix Youth Empowerment Program (A.Y.E.P) Scholarship, please follow the steps outlined below:

Step 1: Submit an Expression of Interest

Complete the A.Y.E.P Expression of Interest Form.
This step allows us to register your interest and ensure you receive official updates, reminders, and announcements regarding the examination schedule and registration process.

Step 2: Pay the Registration Fee

The A.Y.E.P registration fee will be announced approximately one month before the scholarship examination.

Step 3: Attend the A.Y.E.P Physical Examination

• The A.Y.E.P Scholarship Examination will be conducted physically at the Aviatrix Hub Training Building located near Concord Busstop Murtala Mohammed Intl Airport, Ikeja, Lagos.

• Details regarding the date and time will be communicated to registered candidates ahead of the examination.

• Minimum pass mark: 75%

Step 4: Interview Stage

Candidates who meet the required pass mark will be invited for an interview to assess:

• Passion for aviation

• Communication skills and diction

• Professional demeanor and comportment

Scholarship Award

Scholarship awards (Full or Partial) will be determined based on candidates’ overall performance in both the examination and interview stages.
